transportation & disposal Services
At ENPRO we provide clients with attentive, timely, and cost-effective solutions for managing their waste disposal needs while ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and state regulations.
ENPRO customer service representatives, supported by a staff of chemists, compliance specialists and transportation advisors, will prepare all necessary shipping and disposal documents. Through the Terralink™ manifest system, our compliance team tracks all waste shipments “cradle-to-grave”, producing accurate information from pick-up to off-load. Our drivers are rigorously trained and experienced in DOT requirements for packaging, labeling, and manifesting of oil and hazardous waste for secure over-the-road shipments. Our company-owned transportation fleet is equipped with a leading-edge global positioning system (GPS), allowing us to know the exact location of our vehicles and their waste cargos at all times.
In conjunction with our own fleet, ENPRO operates two licensed hazardous waste receiving facilities. ENPRO Services of Maine, Inc., (EMI), located in South Portland, ME, serves as a RCRA Part B permitted facility for the transfer, storage and consolidation of hazardous waste, an approved waste oil recycling facility, and an industrial wastewater treatment facility. ENPRO Services of Vermont, Inc. (EVI), located in Williston, VT, is a RCRA Part B permitted facility for the transfer, storage and consolidation of a wide range of hazardous waste. Both facilities also receive and consolidate certain special solid waste and universal waste.
