COMPANY history

Founded in 1983 as a family owned business, ENPRO Services Inc. (ENPRO) is today recognized throughout the Greater Northeast as a premier provider of turnkey environmental services. Originally operating from one location in Newburyport, Massachusetts, ENPRO now blankets the region with service centers in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. ENPRO's customer base consists of private and government sector clients who draw upon the wide range of service lines that the company offers for the safe remediation, transportation and disposal of oil and hazardous waste.

At the turn of the century, ENPRO's owners and management team looked to augment the company's geographic growth and service line offerings via the strategic acquisition of hazardous waste facilities. ENPRO Services of Maine, Inc. was founded in 2001 with the purchase of an existing oil recycling and hazardous waste facility located in South Portland, Maine. This facility specializes in bulk and containerized shipments of petroleum waste along with certain hazardous waste streams. ENPRO Services of Vermont, Inc. was founded in 2007, with the purchase of an existing hazardous waste facility located in Williston, Vermont. This facility specializes in containerized shipments of most all EPA Waste Codes and has permitted storage capacity for over 2,000 drums.

Now boasting upward of 100 employees, four regional service centers, an impressive fleet of company owned equipment and two hazardous waste facilities, ENPRO is well-positioned to implement plans for controlled geographic expansion.
