Interested candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 3-5 years of consulting work. Experience with subsurface investigation and environmental sampling, and current OSHA 40-hour "HAZWOPER" training certification, is essential. Experience with MA, NH and ME regulatory programs, remediation/construction oversight, proposal/bid preparation and relevant software (MS Office, AutoCAD) is also beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
The Environmental Scientist/Engineer’s position calls for a variety of assignments including: Hands-on supervision and direction of emergency response crews, field work involving soil and groundwater assessment and remediation activities, project management, contract negotiations, maintaining and enhancing positive client relationships, regulatory interface, report writing, and the ability to perform and contribute as a team member in a dynamic work environment.

A professional driving position that involves the loading, transportation, and off-loading of oil and hazardous waste materials. We have a fleet of well-maintained and late model equipment including vacuum trucks/trailers, bulk tankers, box trucks/trailers, dump trucks/trailers, roll-off trucks/trailers, lo-beds, and flat bed trucks/trailers. Primarily short-haul day runs throughout New England.

Service Station Maintenance Technicians

Interested candidates should have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the removal, replacement, and/or upgrade of underground storage tanks (USTs) and fuel distribution systems. Experience with complete service station rebuilds including the restoration of concrete and asphalt surfaces is advantageous. Familiarity with one or more of the following UST related systems is also beneficial:

Field Lab-Pack Environmental Chemist

Interested candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or other related majors, and 2-5 years of relevant work experience. Current OSHA 40-hour "HAZWOPER" training certification is required. Experience with computerized waste manifesting, labeling, and tracking systems is also beneficial. Possession of a Commercial Driving License with an endorsement for Hazardous Materials is also a preferred qualification. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well with ENPRO’s wide variety of public and private sector clients, are a must.
The successful candidate will support ENPRO’s growing clientele with hazardous waste characterization, packaging, manifesting, transportation, and disposal service needs. The manifesting and transportation of oil and hazardous waste is a key component of most ENPRO projects. The position and duties of an Environmental Chemist for ENPRO is not restricted to that of a traditional Lab-Pack Chemist. Instead, the position calls for an individual interested in all facets of ENPRO’s environmental work, but with specialization in the area of oil and hazardous waste characterization, packaging, manifesting, transportation, and disposal.

A professional position that calls for the operation of heavy equipment
(Backhoe/Excavator) and the willingness and ability to work alongside field crews and/or our maintenance mechanics when no equipment operation is necessary. Our projects requiring the operation of heavy equipment involve the recovery of oil and hazardous materials released to the environment, the installation of subsurface recovery systems, the replacement and upgrade of underground storage tank systems and service stations, and site restoration. We have a selection of well maintained heavy equipment including Case backhoes and
uniloaders, and John Deere track mounted excavators and bulldozers. Year-round work primarily on short duration projects offering a variety of assignments throughout New England but focused in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
REQUIRED - Three plus years of solid experience operating heavy equipment.
Although not required the following is advantageous:
Massachusetts
